The backrest on this mobility aid can be folded in half to allow for easy reaching and can be completely detached for compact storage and transportation. In addition, the chair features quick-release, removable rear wheels, making it lighter and easier to lift without compromising on sturdiness. All of these features allow the Whirl Self-Propelled to be easily condensed and suitable for car boots.
This daily living aid has fixed footrests that angle at 650°. These footrests give you a better overall posture and promote blood circulation in your legs and back. The composite skirt guard along with the durable and attractive nylon upholstery gives your independent living a splash of style.
Available in four different seat width sizes: 41 cm (16.1 inches), 43 cm (16.9 inches), 45 cm (17.7 inches) and 48 cm (18.9 inches), this wheelchair passes ISO 7176 part 19 for wheeled mobility devices for use as seats in motor vehicles. It has also passed the biocompatibility test that complies with the PU, so you can rest assured that it safe and secure for everyday use

We offer FREE delivery on all standard orders over £40 to mainland UK. We can deliver to non-mainland UK (and remote Scottish) locations, however there may be an additional delivery cost to these destinations and for special orders. Please contact us for details or look at our delivery page here.
On most items where returns are accepted, please ensure that the product is returned within 30 days of receipt.
Please drop us an email at heretohelp@abilitysuperstore.com or phone customer services on 0161 85 00 884 if you wish to return an item so that we know to look out for it. We will then process your refund within 14 days of receipt.
If you paid for express delivery on your original order, this cost will not be refunded.
If the order is placed directly on the website please double check that the correct details have been entered before submitting the order. Please note that if you enter the incorrect address in error and the order is sent to this address and subsequently not received, a refund will not be provided.
