How to order from The Ability Superstore.
You can order mobility aids and daily living products by following these simple steps:
1. Order online - it's safe, secure, simple - see our guide on how to place a website order
2. Order over the phone - our phone lines are open 5 days a week and are answered by our friendly team of advisers all based in the UK - we can only take payments of up to £300 over the phone
3. Email your order to us - through heretohelp@abilitysuperstore.com
4. Order through the post
Please note that we deliver to mainland UK and Northern Ireland addresses only (Northern Ireland for small items only - those which can be sent via the Royal Mail's postal service). Deliveries to other locations may be able to be arranged however these may take slightly longer and may cost more due to postage costs - please call us free on 0800 255 0498 if you wish to arrange a non-mainland UK delivery.
PLEASE REMEMBER - if you are claiming VAT exemption you will need to complete the VAT Exemption Form either in the basket or the actual form itself before we can process your order. (Please click here for a copy of the VAT exemption form.)
(1) Order online
The Ability Superstore has an easy to use, secure shopping basket which makes it simple for you to order online.
Once you have selected the items you wish to order simply add them to your virtual shopping basket. Then click on “Checkout” to move to the next stage.
You can review your order; enter your details, a separate delivery address if appropriate and any special instructions to our team. Please double check that the correct details have been entered before submitting the order.
PLEASE NOTE THAT YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR ENTERING THE CORRECT ADDRESS WHEN PLACING AN ORDER. IF YOU ENTER AN INCORRECT ADDRESS IN ERROR, AND THE ORDER IS SUBSEQUENTLY RETURNED TO US BY THE COURIER THEN THE COST OF BOTH THE RETURN CARRIAGE AND THE ORIGINAL OUTWARD CARRIAGE WILL BE DEDUCTED FROM A REFUND. IF YOU REQUIRE THE ITEM TO BE RESENT TO THE CORRECTED ADDRESS, THEN YOU WILL NEED TO PAY BOTH THE RETURN CHARGE AND THE SECOND OUTWARD CARRIAGE CHARGE. PLEASE ALSO NOTE THAT WE ARE CHARGED FOR RETURNED ITEMS BY ALL COURIERS INCLUDING THE ROYAL MAIL.
Then choose to pay with either your debit or credit card. Click on the "Checkout now" button at the bottom of the page and the website will automatically take you through to the WorldPay secure credit/debit card payment page. You can also choose to pay securely through PayPal.
Your payment details are only used for this order and are not saved on our servers. Our website uses SSL (secure sockets layer) technology which securely encrypts any data sent to us through the ordering process so you can be sure that your details are always safe and secure.
Certain products are limited to a maximum number per order. This is clearly stated on any listing this applies to. If you choose to ignore the maximum and order more, then your order will be amended by us and the difference refunded. If your order was previously over £40 and qualified for free P&P, and your amended order then is below £40, the cost of the P&P, at the time on the website, will be added.
(2) Order over the phone
If you prefer to order over the phone then simply call our order line FREE on 0800 255 0498. The lines are open 4 days a week - Monday to Thursday 9:30am to 4pm. Our friendly team of advisers are based in the UK and are here to help with your order or any questions you may have.
PLEASE NOTE, THAT DUE TO CASES OF FRAUDULENT USE OF CREDIT AND DEBIT CARDS WE CAN ONLY TAKE PAYMENTS OF UP TO £300 OVER THE PHONE. ORDERS ABOVE £300 WILL BE ASKED TO COMPLETE THE PROCESS ONLINE OR TO PAY VIA PAYPAL INVOICE. ALTERNATIVELY WE CAN EMAIL YOU A PRO-FORMA INVOICE AND PAYMENT CAN THEN BE MADE BY BANK TRANSFER.
(3) Email your order to us
If you would like to order your products via email then please send your order to Sandra and the team at heretohelp@abilitysuperstore.com.
Simply detail in the email the products you require, your delivery address and also a contact phone number for you. We will then call you to confirm your payment details - you can pay with a debit or credit card over the phone or you can post us a cheque or postal order (made payable to Ability Superstore) to Ability Superstore, The Mill, Gertrude Street, Nelson BB9 8RS. Please do not include your card details in the email.
(4) Order through the post
It's simple to order through the post. Just write your name and address details, together with the item/s you require and the price on a piece of paper and post it, with a cheque made payable to Ability Superstore to Ability Superstore, The Mill, Gertrude Street, Nelson BB9 8RS. Please do include a contact telephone number too.
Please remember, if you are claiming VAT exemption you will need to complete the VAT Exemption Form - please click here for a copy of the VAT exemption form.
GIFT WRAP
If you choose the gift wrap option, please include a message to state any gift message required. Please also note that if you order gift wrapping on large/awkwardly shaped items, then the item will be wrapped to the best of our ability, but the total item may not be covered with wrapping paper.
RETURNS
