The Memphis Rise Recliner is upholstered in a soft feel Chenille fabric and features a luxury memory foam seat for that extra level of comfort.
The dual motor mechanism enables the user to find their perfect comfort position, and the attractive, modern design is guaranteed to suit any décor. Its stylish T back design provides extra comfort and support, whilst the backrest and footrest can be raised/lowered independently to give more flexible support options, such as a supreme comfort snooze position.
The Memphis has two convenient side pockets for easy storage, and smooth and quiet operation to be used at any time. The in-built fail safe battery back-up system enables the chair to be raised and lowered in the event of a power failure, whilst simple to use 4 button handset with built-in safety key is included.
What’s the difference between a single motor and dual motor rise and recliner chair?
A single motor riser recliner chair is where just the one motor controls all the electric functions on the chair. The back rest, foot rest and riser functions are all operated through one set of buttons on the hand controller, which in turn operates the single motor.
The chair can be put into a fully reclined position with the backrest reclined and footrest raised, all through pressing the button. By pressing the rise button, the chair moves into a raised sit-to-stand position. The backrest rises, the footrest drops and then the whole chair will help you to rise to a standing position.
A dual motor riser recliner chair uses two motors to control the actions of the chair.
One motor operates the backrest whilst the other motor operates the footrest and rising to stand function. Each motor has its own set of controlling buttons on the controller.
With dual motor rise and recline chairs, you have more flexibility in finding a comfortable position. The back rest lowers and rises independently of the footrest and seat rising, so you are able to create many different seating positions when compared to a single motor chair.
