Wearing a Hip Shield is a sensible way to help avoid hip fractures. A practical healthcare aid that minimises risk and gives the wearer confidence to be as active as possible.
When looking at a range of protectors and supports, the Hip Shield is one of the simplest to wear and one of the most effective.
Whether being used as part of a care package for someone with mobility problems, or as a post-operative rehabilitation plan, the Hip Shield can prevent a fall becoming an injury. It absorbs the impact of a fall by deflecting jarring away from the hip bone.
Suitable for day, or night wear, the Hip Shield disability aid is easy to put on and comfortable to wear. Just slip inside the inside pockets of the protective pants, (which come with it), for a low key, unobtrusive look.
These mobility aids are made from 95% cotton and are machine washable.
A single pack consists of – protective pants x 1 and 2 hip protectors.
A triple pack consists of – protective pants x 3 and 2 hip protectors.

On most items where returns are accepted, please ensure that the product is returned within 30 days of receipt.
Please drop us an email at heretohelp@abilitysuperstore.com or phone customer services on 0161 85 00 884 if you wish to return an item so that we know to look out for it. We will then process your refund within 14 days of receipt.
If you paid for express delivery on your original order, this cost will not be refunded.
If the order is placed directly on the website please double check that the correct details have been entered before submitting the order. Please note that if you enter the incorrect address in error and the order is sent to this address and subsequently not received, a refund will not be provided.
Please note that you will be responsible for both arranging the return and for the cost of postage (or courier) for returning items.
